Person-Centered Planning: The Various Options to Secure Positive Student Outcomes

Attention Families & Educators!

Whether you're a parent or an educator from elementary to high school, you may have many questions about future plans for your students with disabilities.  Person-Centered Planning helps guide students and the adults supporting them in answering some of these questions:

  • What is my vision for a good year/life?
  • How am I going to overcome barriers that I may face?
  • What activities and/or services do I need to have to be successful in achieving my goals?
  • What do I want to do when I finish school?

The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE), the RESC Alliance, and the State Education Resource Center (SERC) invite families/parents of students with disabilities and educators or learn about a variety of Person-Centered Planning options, including an introduction to Charting the LifeCource: A New Universal Person-Centered Planning Process.

Join RESC and SERC consultants on Monday, November 19, from 9:00am - 3:30pm at LEARN for Person-Centered Planning.  Additional sessions are scheduled at each RESC through March 2019.  Click here for the full listing of sessions.
