Welcome to LEARN's disABILITY Summit!

This Summit is an inclusive gathering, dedicated to empowering parents, caregivers, students, and the broader community. Within this space, we hope to initiate meaningful dialogue, share insights, and cultivate a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs experienced by those living with a range of unique capabilities. Together, we aim to build a more compassionate society where each person feels a sense of belonging within a community that celebrates all contributions. It is both our responsibility and privilege, as individuals, groups, and agencies, to foster a supportive environment for individuals who love, learn, love, communicate, and work in their own way.

We are happy to embark on this journey with you today, where caring, knowledge, collaboration, and advocacy intersect to create more equitable and just systems of education and a future that is accessible to all. Thank you for choosing to be a part of this experience that we hope you will find transformative.

2025 disABILITY Summit

We are beyond grateful to everyone who made the 2025 LEARN disABILITY Summit such a success! With over 200 attendees, 60+ vendors, 9 engaging breakout sessions, and our interactive Purposeful Play Room, the event was a true celebration of connection, resources, and empowerment. We even had a special appearance from Blaze of the Connecticut Sun!

Attendees shared how essential this event is to the Shoreline community, calling it “a hub for families to gather information for their children. The Shoreline is a difficult place to get services and info—this event is so needed, thank you.”

For families, educators, and service providers, the LEARN disABILITY Summit is more than just a day of presentations—it is a lifeline. It’s a rare and valuable opportunity to access crucial resources, meet experts, and connect with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of navigating disabilities. The event serves as a bridge between families and the services that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

The discussions, shared experiences, and ideas exchanged during the summit are instrumental in driving forward inclusivity, accessibility, and meaningful change. Your commitment to advocacy and action, and we are grateful for your contributions.

Together, we are building a stronger, more informed, and more inclusive community. Thank you for being part of this important movement—we can’t wait to see you next year!
